SATAN RELEASED AT THE END OF THE 1000 YEARS

Rev 20:7  And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison

SATAN DECEIVES THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH, GOG AND MAGOG TO GATHER THEM FOR BATTLE

Rev 20:8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.

the troops get ready to be mustered

Eze 38:1  And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Eze 38:2  Son of man, let your face be turned against Gog, of the land of Magog, the ruler of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and be a prophet against him,
Eze 38:3  And say, This is what the Lord has said: See, I am against you, O Gog, ruler of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal:
Eze 38:4  I will turn him around, put hooks in his jaws, and drag him and all his troops away. His army, with its horses and uniformed riders, is enormous, and every soldier carries a shield and is armed with a sword.
Eze 38:5  Troops from Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with him, and all have shields and helmets.
Eze 38:6  All the fighting men of the lands of Gomer and Beth Togarmah in the north are with him, and so are men from many other nations.
Eze 38:7  Tell him to get ready and have all his troops ready at his command.
Eze 38:8  After many days you will be mustered. In the latter years you will go against the land that is restored from war, the land whose people were gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and now dwell securely, all of them.

-------

SATAN AND HIS ARMY SURROUNDED THE CAMP OF THE HOLY ONES AND THE BELOVED CITY

the whole army advances

Eze 38:9  You will advance, coming on like a storm. You will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.
Eze 38:10  "Thus says the Lord GOD: On that day, thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme
Eze 38:11  and say, 'I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,'
Eze 38:12  to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth.
Eze 38:13  Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its leaders will say to you, 'Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to seize great spoil?'
Eze 38:14  "Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord GOD: On that day when my people Israel are dwelling securely, will you not know it?
Eze 38:15  You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army.

Israel is surrounded

Rev 20:9  and they will march all the way across the earth. They will surround the camp of God's people and the city that his people love. But fire will come down from heaven and destroy the whole army.

Eze 38:16  You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.
Eze 38:17  "Thus says the Lord GOD: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them?
Eze 38:18  But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord GOD, my wrath will be roused in my anger.
Eze 38:19  For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
Eze 38:20  The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.
Eze 38:21  I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Lord GOD. Every man's sword will be against his brother.
Eze 38:22  With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur.
Eze 38:23  So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.

-------

FIRE FROM HEAVEN CONSUMED THE WHOLE ARMY

God sends a fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands

Eze 39:1 And you, son of man, be a prophet against Gog, and say, These are the words of the Lord: See, I am against you, O Gog, ruler of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal:
Eze 39:2 And turning you round, I will be your guide, and make you come up from the inmost parts of the north; I will make you come on to the mountains of Israel:
Eze 39:3 And with a blow I will send your bow out of your left hand and your arrows falling from your right hand.
Eze 39:4 On the mountains of Israel you will come down, you and all your forces and the peoples who are with you: I will give you to cruel birds of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be their food.
Eze 39:5 You will come down in the open field: for I have said it, says the Lord.
Eze 39:6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and on those who are living in the sea-lands without fear: and they will be certain that I am the Lord.

fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them

Rev 20:9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them,

GREAT WHITE THRONE APPEARS

Rev 20:11  Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.

-------

EARTH AND SKY FLED

the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn

2Pe 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
2Pe 3:11  Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
2Pe 3:12  waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!

Earth and sky fled and were seen no more

Rev 20:12  And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.

separation of sheep and goats

Mat 25:31  "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.
Mat 25:32  Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
Mat 25:33  And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.

the sheep go to everlasting life & inherit the Kingdom of God

Mat 25:34  Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Mat 25:35  For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
Mat 25:36  I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'
Mat 25:37  Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
Mat 25:38  And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
Mat 25:39  And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'
Mat 25:40  And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'

Mat 25:43  I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.'
Mat 25:44  Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?'
Mat 25:45  Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.'
Mat 25:46  And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

-------

THE DEAD WERE JUDGED ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS WRITTEN IN THE BOOKS (ANYONE NOT IN THE BOOK OF LIFE WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE)

Rev 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Rev 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

resurrection of judgment

Joh 5:28  Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice
Joh 5:29  and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

whatever one sows, that will he also reap

Gal 6:8  For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

God will render to each one according to his works

Rom 2:6  He will render to each one according to his works:
Rom 2:7  to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;
Rom 2:8  but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.
Rom 2:9  There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek,
Rom 2:10  but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek.
Rom 2:11  For God shows no partiality.

God shows no favoritism in judgment

Rom 2:11  God doesn't have any favorites!
Rom 2:12  Those people who don't know about God's Law will still be punished for what they do wrong. And the Law will be used to judge everyone who knows what it says.
Rom 2:13  God accepts those who obey his Law, but not those who simply hear it.
Rom 2:14  Some people naturally obey the Law's commands, even though they don't have the Law.
Rom 2:15  This proves that the conscience is like a law written in the human heart. And it will show whether we are forgiven or condemned,
Rom 2:16  when God appoints Jesus Christ to judge everyone's secret thoughts, just as my Gospel says.

God will execute Justice

Psa 140:12  I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and will execute justice for the needy.

Isa 66:16  The LORD's fiery sword will bring justice everywhere on this earth and execute many people.

Jer 23:5  "Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

the LORD is a God of justice

Isa 30:18  Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.

Psa 89:14  Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.

Jer 9:24  but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD."

Isa 61:8  For I the LORD love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

-------

DEATH AND HADES THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE (SECOND DEATH)

the Last Enemy to be destroyed is Death

Rev 20:14  Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

1Co 15:25  For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
1Co 15:26  The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

-------

NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH

Rev 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells

2Pe 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
2Pe 3:11  Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
2Pe 3:12  waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!
2Pe 3:13  But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
2Pe 3:14  Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.

Past troubles are forgotten

Isa 65:16 Whoever asks for a blessing in the land will be blessed by the God of Truth. Whoever swears an oath in the land will swear by the God of Truth. Past troubles are forgotten. They are hidden from my eyes.
Isa 65:17 I will create a new heaven and a new earth. Past things will not be remembered. They will not come to mind.
Isa 65:18 Be glad, and rejoice forever in what I'm going to create, because I'm going to create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people to be a joy.
Isa 65:19 I will rejoice about Jerusalem and be glad about my people. Screaming and crying will no longer be heard in the city.
Isa 65:20 There will no longer be an infant who lives for only a few days or an old man who doesn't live a long life. Whoever lives to be a hundred years old will be thought of as young. Whoever dies before he is a hundred years old will be cursed as a sinner.
Isa 65:21 They will build houses and live there. They will plant vineyards and eat fruit from them.
Isa 65:22 They will not build homes and have others live there. They will not plant and have others eat from it. My people will live as long as trees, and my chosen ones will enjoy what they've done.
Isa 65:23 They will never again work for nothing. They will never again give birth to children who die young, because they will be offspring blessed by the LORD. The LORD will bless their descendants as well.
Isa 65:24 Before they call, I will answer. While they're still speaking, I will hear.
Isa 65:25 Wolves and lambs will feed together, lions will eat straw like oxen, and dust will be food for snakes. "They will not hurt or destroy anyone anywhere on my holy mountain," says the LORD.

the new heavens and the new earth will last forever

Isa 66:21 I promise that some of them will be priests and others will be helpers in my temple. I, the LORD, have spoken.
Isa 66:22 I also promise that you will always have descendants and will never be forgotten, just as the new heavens and the new earth that I create will last forever.
Isa 66:23 From new moon to new moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before me, declares the LORD.
Isa 66:24 "And they shall go out and look on the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me. For their worm will never die, their fire never stops burning, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh."

Rev 21:11 and shining with the glory of God. The city shone like a precious stone, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
Rev 21:12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates and with twelve angels in charge of the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of the people of Israel.
Rev 21:13 There were three gates on each side: three on the east, three on the south, three on the north, and three on the west.
Rev 21:14 The city's wall was built on twelve foundation stones, on which were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

the perfectly square city - 1500 miles in all sides

Isa 60:20  Your sun shall no more go down, nor your moon withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended.

the kings of the earth will bring their wealth into it

Rev 21:24 The peoples of the world will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their wealth into it.

the greatness and the wealth of the nations will be brought into the city

Rev 21:26 The greatness and the wealth of the nations will be brought into the city.

the river of the water of life

Rev 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

tree of life bearing 12 kinds of fruit

Rev 22:2 through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

nothing that is impure will enter the city

Rev 21:27 But nothing that is impure will enter the city, nor anyone who does shameful things or tells lies. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of the living will enter the city.

Rev 22:3 Nothing that is under God's curse will be found in the city. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him.

Rev 19:7  Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;

CHRIST DELIVERS THE KINGDOM TO GOD THE FATHER

1Co 15:23  But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.
1Co 15:24  Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power.

-------

GOD'S DWELLING IS WITH THE HUMAN RACE

Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

Rev 21:5 And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
Rev 21:6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
Rev 21:7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

I have a question about Isaiah 65 ~ it 'appears' this is talking about the New Jerusalem that comes down from heaven in Rev 21. Isaiah 65 speaks of people living to be a hundred years old or dying before they're 100 years old, but Rev 21 states there will be no more death.

Some think Isaiah is speaking of the millennial reign of Christ in Jerusalem and Rev 21 is speaking of the everlasting New Jerusalem, the kingdom of God.

What do you think? Thank you.
