Pro 21:7 You destroy yourself by being cruel and violent and refusing to live right.

Pro 24:18 The LORD will find out and be unhappy. Then he will stop being angry with them.

Pro 25:7 It's better for the ruler to give you a high position than for you to be embarrassed in front of royal officials. Be sure you are right

Pro 24:6 Battles are won by listening to advice and making a lot of plans.

Job 20:3 I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.

Job 20:5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?
Job 20:6 Though his excellence shall mount up to the heavens, and his head reach to the clouds;
Job 20:7 Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they who have seen him shall say, Where is he?
Job 20:8 He shall fly away as a dream, and will not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
Job 20:9 The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

Pro 28:12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.


Success of the wicked for a short time (limited success)

Dan 7:25 He will speak against the Supreme God and oppress God's people. He will try to change their religious laws and festivals, and God's people will be under his power for three and a half years.

Rev 13:5 And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months.
Rev 13:6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.

Mat 13:38 The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,
Mat 13:39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.

Pro 21:31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the LORD.

1Jn 5:4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.

2Ch 26:5
(ESV) He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God, and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper.

(GW) He dedicated his life to serving God in the days of Zechariah, who taught him to fear God. As long as he dedicated his life to serving the LORD, the LORD gave him success.

(CEV) Zechariah was Uzziah's advisor and taught him to obey God. And so, as long as Zechariah was alive, Uzziah was faithful to God, and God made him successful.

Rev 15:2
(GW) Then I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire. Those who had won the victory over the beast, its statue, and the number of its name were standing on the glassy sea. They were holding God's harps

(ESV) And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire--and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands

(CEV) Then I saw something that looked like a glass sea mixed with fire, and people were standing on it. They were the ones

who had defeated the beast and the idol and the number that tells the name of the beast. God had given them harps,

(BBE) And I saw a sea which seemed like glass mixed with fire; and those who had overcome the beast and his image and the number of his name, were in their places by the sea of glass, with God's instruments of music in their hands.

1Sa 18:14 And David had success in all his undertakings, for the LORD was with him.


the ultimate victory of the children of God

Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
Rev 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
Rev 21:5 And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
Rev 21:6 And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life freely.
Rev 21:7 Everyone who wins the victory will inherit these things. I will be their God, and they will be my children.

Mat 25:34 Then the King shall say to those on His right hand, Come, blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

2Co 2:14 Now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and He revealing through us the odor of the knowledge of Him in every place.

The Real Riches and True Treasures

Deliverance from Depression
Whenever I'm depressed, I seek God's help and He rescues me from fear, out of all the troubles. Blessed is the man who trusts in God, for God is good and provides riches, wealth, health and honour yet adds no sorrow to it. Man's life consists not in the abundance of his wealth and possessions. Godliness with contentment is great gain. God is always there in my times of need. He has never left me nor forsaken me. He teaches me wisdom and instructs me in the way that I should go.

Peace of God
Many afflictions for the wicked but whoever trusts in God shall obtain grace and blessings. Keeping His commandments brings peace and long life. A foolish man thinks he is smart for himself but whoever puts his confidence in God is prudent. Acknowledge your ways to God and He shall direct your path. Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called sons of God. In all our ways let us do good, be honest, and live peaceably with all men. Don't worry for anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let us present our requests to God, and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard our hearts and minds.

Everlasting Riches and Happiness
Be of good cheer! Rejoice in your tribulations because tribulations produces perseverance. Perseverance produces experience, experience produces hope and this hope is the driving force, our ever-present motivation to live life according to God's will and ultimately to attain eternal life and live in His kingdom forever and ever. Who can measure the treasures, riches, and wealth of the kingdom of God? The fortunes of the world's richest men has been measured in millions, billions, trillions, in diamonds, gold, silver, lands, real estate...they can be measured. But to be a son of God, is incomparable. The inheritance of a son from God the Father is without measure.
